Coffee at the Cosmo at 9 a.m. CT on Thursday, December 17, will feature a virtual presentation about the team that created the rockets that launched Americans into space. “The White Sands Rocket Team” will be streamed live on Cosmosphere’s Facebook Page and will also be available via Zoom. The presenter will be Cosmosphere Curator Shannon Whetzel. Public questions and comments are encouraged during the discussion.

For movie goers, the holiday favorite, The Polar Express is back at Cosmosphere’s Carey Digital Dome Theater with showtimes everyday between now and January 3. There will not be showings on December 25, as the Cosmosphere will be closed.

Add a bit of snow to your holiday season! Two of Cosmosphere’s current documentaries bring you both snow and science!
