Museums for All

Museums for All is a national program that makes museum visits more accessible for families receiving federal food assistance or SNAP benefits. Cosmosphere is proud to partner with Museums for All to offer discounted admission of $3 per person to our Hall of Space Museum. That includes access to CosmoKids STEAM interactive play area!

Just show your SNAP EBT card and photo ID at the Box Office to receive the discount for up to four people. We can’t wait to help you launch your race to space at the Cosmosphere!

ASTC Passport Program

Cosmosphere proudly participates in the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) Passport Program. From November 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, show your ASTC membership card at the Box Office for free admission to the Hall of Space Museum and CosmoKids. 

Visit the Cosmosphere, Exploration Placethe Flint Hills Discovery Center, the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, and the University of Kansas Natural History Museum throughout Kansas, or discover more science centers and museums outside Kansas!

2024 Sunflower Summer

What’s better than an out-of-this-world visit to the Cosmosphere? How about a FREE out-of-this-world visit thanks to the 2024 Kansas Tourism Sunflower Summer program?

All Kansas students, and up to two accompanying adults, can receive free All-Access Mission Passes May 25 through August 11, 2024.

To be eligible to participate, all Kansas students (including public, private, and homeschooled students) Pre-K through 12th grade are included in the program. Up to two adults accompanying the student can also participate. To get started,  parents and guardians need to download the Sunflower Summer app free from either Google Play (Android) or Apple (iOS) app stores.

Blue Star Museum Program

The Cosmosphere is proud to be participating in Blue Star Museums, which provides free admission to our Hall of Space Museum, including CosmoKids, to our nation’s active-duty military personnel (including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps) and up to five family members.

The Blue Star Museum program begins Armed Forces Day and ends Labor Day.

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military–Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard–including Reservists, National Guardsman (regardless of status), U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.

  • Educators bringing in a school field trip, receive a 20% off coupon for use in the Cosmosphere Gift Store. 
  • AAA members receive $1.00 off All-Access Mission Pass and all Single Venue Tickets. Excluding feature films and the naviGATOR simulator 
  • Reno County residents receive free admission to the Hall of Space Museum, including CosmoKids with proof of ID. Please check-in at Box Office upon arrival to receive your ticket. 
  • Cosmosphere members receive free admission to the Hall of Space, including CosmoKids with membership card. Please check-in at Box Office upon arrival to receive your ticket.
