What to Know Before You Arrive

Here are answers to questions visitors frequently ask.

Yes. The Cosmosphere strives to make every visitor feel at ease and safe. For those with physical accessibility needs, the Cosmosphere public areas are all ADA-compliant. The venues and the Hall of Space Museum are all wheelchair accessible as are the restrooms.

Wheelchairs, an electric scooter and strollers are all available free of charge and available on a
first-come, first-serve basis.

The Cosmosphere values include inclusion and accessibility. Please let us know if you need any special accommodations prior to your visit by emailing info@cosmo.org or calling the Box Office at 620.665.9312. We will make every effort to meet reasonable accommodation requests.

Service Animals trained to assist or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are welcome at the Cosmosphere. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed.

Cosmosphere Café is independently operated and offers a variety of great food items.

The concession stand is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 30 minutes after the beginning of the last scheduled Digital Dome Theater show.

No outside food is allowed in the Café due to health regulations.

Whether you are booking group travel or looking for a great way to spend the day with 14 friends, check out the discounts available for groups of 15 or more! Just make your reservations two weeks in advance to receive special group rates.

Do you need event space? Cosmosphere is known for space…and rooms to rent!

Out-of-this-world birthday parties? Absolutely! Transformative board retreats? Nothing like looking out the board room window over an SR-71 to put planning in perspective.

To ensure individuals of all socioeconomic levels can experience the Cosmosphere, family passes are made available for check out from libraries throughout the state. Individuals are also encouraged to call the Cosmosphere Development Department at 620.665.9339 for assistance with the cost of attending.

The renovated galleries in the Hall of Space are open. While many artifacts are on display during this time, the exhibits and graphics won’t be fully completed until Spring 2025.
