Former NASA astronaut Nicole Stott touches down at the Cosmosphere Thursday, June 16 for a public book signing From 4:30-5:30 P.M.
Stott is the author of Back to Earth: What Life in Space Taught Me About Our Home Planet and Our Mission to Protect It. Inspired by her experiences as crewmember for the International Space Station and Space Shuttle missions, the book presents problem-solving, survival, and crisis-response techniques readers can apply to protect our planetary home.
Stott’s book is currently available in the Cosmosphere gift shop.
Cosmosphere is connecting Stott to Kansas audiences through a partnership with B&B Theatres. Following June 16, Stott will make weekend appearances at various B&B Theatres across the Kansas City metro area for special showtime presentations of Disney/Pixar’s Lightyear.
