HUTCHINSON, KS, Nov. 12, 2024 – Cosmosphere president and chief executive officer Jim Remar will continue his role as board chair of the Giant Screen Cinema Association, an international organization with members representing filmmakers, distributors, and theaters from nearly 30 countries.
The Cosmosphere’s two-story Carey Digital Dome Theater features a 4K digital projection system that envelopes viewers in an immersive theater experience. The Carey Digital Dome Theater presents several showings of educational documentaries during Cosmosphere’s regular hours, with popular feature films available on weekends.
“I am honored to continue my role as board chair at the GSCA,” said Remar. “With its Carey Digital Dome Theater, the Cosmosphere is an excellent organizational fit for a leadership role within the giant screen film industry.”
Remar has served on the GSCA Board of Directors for the past three years and has been the board’s chairperson for two years.
