Cosmosphere Becomes First Institutional Member of National Aeronautic Association

HUTCHINSON, KS, Jun. 20, 2024 – The Cosmosphere proudly announces its status as the first Institutional Member of the National Aeronautic Association (NAA), the oldest national aviation organization. This collaboration reinforces the NAA’s core objectives and strives to bolster the educational resources and industry affiliations of the Cosmosphere.

“The NAA is the oldest national aviation organization in the US, with a mission of advancing the art, sport, and science of aviation and spaceflight,” said Cosmosphere President and CEO Jim Remar. “Given the Cosmosphere’s mission of inspiring the future through space exploration, it is a natural fit for the Cosmosphere to join the NAA.”

Since its founding in 1905, just two years after the Wright brothers’ first powered flight, the NAA has united individuals, companies, and organizations involved in the American aerospace community with the common goal of advancing aviation and spaceflight.

“We are thrilled that the Cosmosphere supports and values what the NAA offers, and we look forward to fully engaging and serving them,” said Amy Spowart, NAA President and CEO.
