Hutchinson, KS — The Cosmosphere is pleased to announce the appointment of new members
to its Foundation Board and Governing Board for 2026, welcoming leaders whose experience
and dedication will help advance the organization’s mission of Inspiring the Future through
Space Exploration.
Joining the Cosmosphere Foundation Board are:
Sandy Marshall, who serves as Strategic Communications Lead for NASA’s Jet Propulsion
Laboratory where he guides initiatives for the Deep Space Network, Voyager, and partnership and
entertainment activations.
Michael Lapidus, the Director of Government Affairs at SpaceX where he has served in the
Government Affairs Division for over 15 years.
Rob Fee, who serves as a wealth management financial advisor for CAPTRUST and is
currently serving as Governing Board Chair.
Joining the Cosmosphere Governing Board are:
Benjamin Anderson, who is the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Hutchinson
Regional Healthcare System, where he is responsible for the management, direction, and
coordination of all organizational operations.
Tony Finlay, who serves as the Executive Director at the Hutchinson Recreation Commission,
and has just completed his service on the Foundation Board for the Cosmosphere.
