Join us Friday, February 2, 2024, from 3-5 pm as we welcome former NASA astronaut, Dr. Tom Jones. Jones will be signing his book, Space Shuttle Stories, in the Cosmosphere’s Grand Lobby.
Thomas D. Jones, PhD, is a veteran NASA astronaut, scientist, author, pilot, and speaker. In more than eleven years with NASA, he flew on four space shuttle missions to Earth orbit – including STS-59, STS-68, STS-80 and STS-98. In 2001, Dr. Jones led three spacewalks to install the centerpiece of the International Space Station, the American Destiny laboratory and has spent fifty-three days working and living in space.
Dr. Jones’ book will be available beginning January 17, 2024, in the Cosmosphere’s Gift Store or online at shop.cosmo.org.
