Spring Into STEM

4th-6th graders can train with an astronaut this spring break! Astronaut Steve Swanson joins Spring into STEM campers this year! Steve Swanson is a retired NASA astronaut who has flown two shuttle flights and one Soyuz flight, logging over 195 days in space with five spacewalks under his belt.

To register for a camp, a parent or guardian can log in to an existing profile on the Camper Portal. New users will need to create a new profile. *If the camp your camper wishes to attend is sold out, please email camp@cosmo.org with your name, the camper’s name, and camp date to be placed on a waitlist.

* A non-refundable $70 registration fee will be added to each camp at checkout.

  • VR Activity, picture, and autograph from Astronaut Steve Swanson
  • Introductory mission to low-Earth orbit in our Astralis Simulator
  • Train like an astronaut in our 4G centrifuge
  • Send up an experiment on our high-altitude balloon
  • Tackle engineering design and astronaut mission challenges

Simulations based on space history build crucial life skills: problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
