From 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, Merrill Atwater, Director of Aviation, and Lindsey Dreiling, Manager of Aviation Marketing and Outreach from the Division of Aviation at the Kansas Department of Transportation, will be at the Cosmosphere to participate in Spring Break activities.
Atwater and Dreiling will help children participate in the paper airplane course challenge at the Innovator’s table in the lobby. Cosmosphere visitors will also have a chance to visit with them about Kansas aerospace and aviation.
“Anytime we can engage in aviation activities with students, it can inspire imagination and innovation,” said Director Atwater.
