Scouts Train Like an Astronaut at Cosmosphere Camp

Scout Life magazine, a nationally-distributed publication for Scouts and their families, features Cosmosphere’s Merits of Space camps in their December 2021 issue here.

Merits of Space camps feature hands-on STEM, leadership, and team-building activities specially tailored for youth organizations such as Scouts. Activities available include realistic spaceflight and lunar landing missions using Cosmosphere’s Astralis capsule and authentic Mission Control room, robotics building and programming, and other learning adventures aligned with specific group interests and objectives.

The Cosmosphere International SciEd Center & Space Museum is a Smithsonian Affiliate. Located at 1100 North Plum in Hutchinson, KS, its collection includes U.S. space artifacts second only to the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, and the largest collection of Russian space artifacts outside of Moscow.
