Launch your summer at the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson with activities for all ages every day.
Beginning May 28 through September 6, Cosmosphere returns to seven days a week of operation and will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
In addition to the new CosmoKids interactive STEM area for children, families will also enjoy the return of weekend feature films at the Carey Digital Dome Theater. Memorial Day weekend kicks off summer films with “Raya and the Last Dragon” showing at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Two new documentaries launch May 28 and bring the real drama of space to life. The documentary combo of “Asteroid Mission Extreme” and “Astronaut—Ocean to Orbit” feature the science and secrets of asteroids and the intense underwater training that helps NASA astronauts overcome crises in space. A variety of documentaries show every day at the Cosmosphere.
And remember, if you have a large group looking for entertainment this summer, check Cosmosphere’s group rates and scheduling options.
“We are happy to schedule private showings and anything else within our power to bring fun to groups whether it’s a business outing or a family reunion,” said Samantha Hyman, Cosmosphere Box Office Manager.
Plan now for a Father’s Day outing on June 20, when Dads get in free with a paid admission.
