    NASA Administrator, Senator to Celebrate Anniversary with Astronauts & Mission Control Crew

    Current NASA administrator, Jim Bridenstine, and Kansas Senator Jerry Moran will both be in attendance for the Earthrising gala hosted by the Cosmosphere on Dec. 1.

    Earthrising is a 50th anniversary celebration of the Apollo 8 mission and will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Meadowlark Building at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The gala will consist of a dinner, an Apollo 8 artifact exhibit, a silent auction and panel presentation with Apollo-era astronauts and mission control crew members.
