    To continue to fight the spread of COVID-19, precautions in place at the Cosmosphere include: 

    • Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required.
    • CosmoKids, the hands-on, interactive area for children, is cleaned three times each day; individual materials kits are provided to each participant and reusable items are sanitized between uses; each kit contains sanitizing wipes so surfaces can be further cleaned to the comfort level of each guest. 
    • Employees and volunteers are required to wear masks.

    Welcome back to in-person Coffee at the Cosmo at the Cosmosphere!

    This informative community gathering over coffee features guest speakers offering insight into STEM topics and space history. Coffee at the Cosmo is offered quarterly and is free of charge. It can also be enjoyed via Facebook Live from anywhere!

    Enjoy this free, presentation "EM...Who? EMU Spacesuit Secrets Past and Present." With special guest Kristine Larson Davis, a spacesuit engineer at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston and Cosmosphere Camps alumna, is part of a team designing, testing, (and sometimes wearing prototypes!) of the new xEMU suit that will be worn by the first woman and next man to explore the moon as part of the Artemis program. Joining Kristine will be Cosmosphere curator, Shannon Whetzel.
