    Date: Thursday, November 19, 2020 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    Location:www.cosmomeeting.org

Join us on Thursday, November 19 at 9:00 am CT, for this virtual presentation! Join us live on our Facebook page on the day of the event or on Zoom at cosmomeeting.org.

Grab your mug of Joe, sit back in the comfort of your own home and enjoy this free presentation on "Apollo 13: Saying "Yes, And" to Collaboration," with Sandy Marshall, Cosmosphere volunteer, TV/film actor, business speaker, and former Cosmosphere Camps counselor.

On April 13, 1970, NASA’s Apollo 13 mission was aborted after an oxygen tank ruptured on the way to the moon. 3 astronauts were on board. They all came home. Later classified by NASA as a “successful failure” because of experience gained in rescuing the crew, Apollo 13 has become a classic example of quick thinking, problem solving, and working together as a team.

Fast forward to today’s disruptive business world, where global workers create virtual, agile environments and manage change without a flight plan…all while incorporating principles of the Yes, And method of collaboration. Now more than ever, remote teamwork is mission critical. There’s a lot we can learn from Apollo 13.

Tune-in to “Coffee at the Cosmo” (home of the flown "Odyssey" Command Module), and learn about what Apollo 13’s “successful failure” can teach us about agility, problem solving, effective communication, and working together.

Presented by Sandy Marshall (Emmy-nominated writer/producer) with special guests, learn about the intersection between NASA's mission control environment and principles of collaboration.

Because when the flight plan changes in the middle of the mission, your most important asset is your team.

*Coffee at the Cosmo topics and speakers are subject to change.
