Hazards of Living in Space

Explore the many challenges and dangers astronauts face when they live onboard spacecraft. Risking temperatures of -240°F to 200°F, oxygen deprivation and projectiles traveling at speeds of 17,500 mph, astronauts must overcome many dangers to complete their research and projects safely while in space. Guests will be shown the effects some of these hazards pose to our astronauts and the equipment scientists have developed to manage them.
