Dianne has a diverse leadership background in both non-profit and corporate business development, built upon a career of collaboration, relationship development, strategic planning and event management. Her role at the Cosmosphere includes donor outreach and development, campaign management and event, public relations, marketing and outreach oversight.
Previously, as Vice President, Business Development at Intellectual Capital Exchange (ICEX), Inc, a Boston-based privately-held company, Dianne was responsible for strategic sales and relationship development from 2001 until 2009. Prior to that, she held a four-year position with Houston-based Concours Group as Director, Regional Sales, focused on introducing C-level executives to this Fortune 1000 startup firm's education and consulting capabilities.
Dianne worked for the nation’s largest association management firm, Smith Bucklin & Associates, in Chicago, from 1982 until 1997 in roles of increasing responsibility from convention and tradeshow management, new program and sponsorship development and leadership roles for professional societies and trade organizations.
Dianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Development, graduating from DePaul University in 2002. She served in the United States Air Force from 1974 until 1979, including three years in the Military Airlift Command Protocol Office. A Hutchinson native, Dianne returned home in 2007.
