Public Observation of the Venus Transit

Cosmosphere South Parking Lot

We will be using telescopes with solar filters to view Venus as it crosses the face of the Sun. A rare event which won't occur again until the year 2117. Meet in the Cosmosphere South parking lot (the old Hutchinson Floral parking lot.)

The Kansas Cosmosphere will not open until 2pm on Tuesday, June 5 for a private event. Our business hours this day will be from 2 - 7 p.m. We will be open normal business hours on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 9 am - 7 pm.
